Matthew 28:19
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the end of the world "

We are all in a different place in our walk with the Lord. In my case it was a teaching by Pastor Tony Evans last year about this verse that served as a warning sign and lead me to question what was the next step that God had for my life, because even tough I had the blessing of having a beautiful family that loves Jesus, having all our material needs met, living in a beautiful city and fulfilling my God giving call with my job, the Holy Spirit was calling me to drastically change my life and my family's life in order to respond to the call of "the Great Commission ", and it was then that I started with my family a long adventure where determinedly we began to pray, fast, read the word and seek advice from brothers and sisters in the faith.

Next week I will tell you more about my story, but today I would like to invite you to have a moment of intimacy with the Lord, worshiping, praying and reading Matthew 28:19 again and then ask yourself what to do next:

1. Am I fulfilling the mission given to us all by Jesus?

2. What I can do to get started?

3. Who do I start with?

4. How should I start?

5. Where should I start?

Don’t ask yourself: when should I start? Because if you have not done so, today is the day to start; and if you are actively taking part in the "Great Commission" Let this be a warning message to ask the Lord what is the next step He has for your life.

    Calvary Chapel Cartagena

Santiago will serve as pastor for Calvary Chapel Cartegena, Colombia, which was established to disciple the new believers who come to faith during Calvary Chapel short term mission trips. He and his family – Paula, Maria Alejandra, Danielle, Maria Jose and Jacey – will bring the hope, salvation, restoration, and love found in Jesus Christ to those impacted by the horror of human trafficking. Their calling is to be used by God to restore the young victims and to strengthen area families as a means of eliminating this social plague.
